In addition to her education as an interior designer, Maikki has a Master's degree in Business Administration, and one of her strengths is the project management skills she learned earlier in her career. As a designer she favours a philosophy of sustainability and timelessness, as well as natural and authentic materials which she skilfully combines with different colors and tones. Nature and harmony are important values for Maikki, both on the design table and in her free time.
On weekends Maikki moves from design to execution and takes up the cricket herself as she builds the home of her dreams.
